Javier Zelaya, MD, is an Internist and Board Certified Dermatologist and a graduate of Williams College (Williamstown, Mass) and NYU School of Medicine. He completed dual residencies in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and Dermatology Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident in Dermatology while at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following residency he completed a cosmetic apprenticeship with Dr. George Farber, in New Orleans. Dr. Zelaya has been in private practice for the past 20 years, with offices in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. He is expertly skilled in treating a full range of medical and cosmetic skin conditions in all skin types. Dr. Zelaya will work with you to make informed decisions and develop a treatment plan to meet your needs and improve your health and appearance. Dr. Zelaya is an active member of several professional organizations, including American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Fellow American Academy of Contact Dermatitis.
