Dolly Parton’s first in a series of made-for-NBC movies, Coat of Many Colors, is set to air December 10 (check local listings). Dolly will be making the rounds to promote it over the next weeks.
The Dollyganza begins this Thursday. On December 3, she’ll appear on CBS’s The Talk alongside Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. Airs at 2pm EST / 1pm CST on CBS.
On the morning of December 7, she’ll stop by Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family, which airs at 10am / 9am Cental. (Super-fans can tune in December 2, too, for Coat of Many Colors actor Ricky Schroder.)
Then, on December 8, she’s on NBC’s Today, where back in July she broke the news to Alyvia Alyn Lind that she’d gotten the part of Dolly. See the 30 seconds of squee here:
UPDATED 12/2: Also on Tuesday, December 8, Dolly will perform “Coat of Many Colors” live on NBC’s The Voice (airs 8–9pm). Voice season-3 champion Cassadee Pope will perform as well, singing her latest single, “I Am Invincible.” Dolly will mentor this season’s semi-finalists, sharing her knowledge as a music industry trailblazer and icon.
Then, Thursday, December 10 is the big night when Coat of Many Colors airs on NBC. Check local listings for times. Plan ahead: Clear the space on your DVR now.
