Sam!: A Transgender Boy’s Journey
September 8, 2019 | 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
“My son Samson came out as transgender at age 9. Shortly thereafter he told me that he wanted to read a book about a boy like him. We looked and looked, but couldn’t find one. So I decided to write Sam a book. The book is filled with dreams and spirit and laughter, just like Sam. Join me for a reading of the book and a discussion about identity, family, and inclusion.” – Dani Gabriel
