At Astor Medical, we understand that illnesses require quick and responsive medical care. We believe that continuity in care provides higher quality service. We offer same-day appointments making it easy for you to receive treatment for illnesses and other acute medical problems.
PATIENT PORTAL
Astor Medical is now offering patients access to its Patient Portal — a secure online access provided to all our active patients. Use it to access your health information and to request appointments, referrals and prescription refills. Ask for additional information on your next visit.
We are board certified and specialty certified clinicians with many years of clinical and research experience. We also work with a wide range of uniquely qualified, hand-picked specialists for referrals.
An array of services are offered for patients of all types including:
ADULT PRIMARY CARE with a focus on fitness, nutrition, and weight management.
WELLNESS CARE such as preventive health physicals and vaccinations.
WOMEN'S HEALTH: Primary care by a female clinician focuses on women's health issues. Routine PAP smears and STD testing are offered.
MEN'S HEALTH: Medical care specific to health concerns of men such as erectile dysfunction, prostate related conditions, and hypogonadism (low testosterone level).
HIV TEST Pre- and Post test counseling. Expert PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) and PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis) management.
STD SCREENING AND TREATMENT provided in a non-judgmental, private environment.
TRAVEL CLINIC: Traveling to an exotic place? We provide immunizations needed to make your trip a safe one. We provide the "International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP)" or "Yellow Card," and we are a New York State certified site for the yellow fever vaccination.
STATE-OF-THE-ART HIV TREATMENT including the latest treatments for acute and chronic HIV infection, wasting syndrome and access to clinical trials and expanded access programs.
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING AND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: We provide patient care that promotes wellness and healthy living. We also work with a network of dietitians on a referral basis.
