Staten Island Urological Assoc
Staten Island Urological Associates, P.C., has provided state-of-the-art urologic care to Staten Island and surrounding communities for over 40 years. Dr. Peter Albert and Dr. Adley Raboy provide excellent diagnostic and treatment skills. If surgery is indicated they provide excellent surgical and postoperative care, usually through minimally invasive means. Drs. Albert and Raboy treat each patient as a unique individual with specific needs and concerns. Since social discomfort or embarrassment often accompanies the urological conditions we treat, we emphasize sensitivity and discretion when dealing with all of our patients' concerns.
Staten Island Urological Associates, P.C. is pleased to announce a new, safe and natural treatment. The Priapus Shot—or P-Shot—a term coined by Dr. Charles Runels, M.D., is used for penile rejuvenation. It has been used to treat erectile dysfunction in men who have been treated by radiation or radical surgery to cure their prostate cancer. It has also been used successfully in men with ED caused by antihypertensive medications, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking, and Peyronies disease.
Adley Raboy, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been practicing urology on Staten Island since 1990. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Clinical Associate Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Raboy provides his patients with an extraordinary depth of knowledge of urology and when combined with his excellent surgical skills, his patients know that they are in very good hands.
Dr. Raboy has published numerous papers in the field of Urology and he and Dr. Albert were the first physicians to perform a pelvioscopic assisted radical prostatectomy which provided patients a less invasive procedure to remove the prostate when prostate cancer is present. They now perform pelvioscopic assisted radical prostatectomys routinely providing their patients with prostate cancer a shorter recuperative period, less incidence of urinary incontinence and sexual impotency.
Dr. Raboy is currently on the attending staff of Staten Island University Hospital division of North Shore LIJ Health Systems.
