Make the Yuletide Gayer with a Naughty Netflix Sneak Peek

Straight people have been trying to ruin Christmas for centuries. Their off-key caroling and off-kilter fashion choices consistently detract from what is intended to be a gloriously gay affair.

Think about it: a sugar-daddy-bear with a delicious white beard invites you to sit on his lap and ask for exactly what you want. Queer much?

We need to take XXXmas back from the breeders; they have waged a war on fun ever since they brought family into the holiday mix. EW!

Speaking of EW, Entertainment Weekly has just released a first look at our latest LGBTQ+ salvo in the battle for the sassy soul of the season. Single All the Way is Netflix’s man-on-man/rom-com hootenanny, and fans are breathlessly counting down until the 12 Gays of Christmas.

We reported on the production way back in April (tastemaker alert!), but now there’s more tea to spill, so get out your hankies.

Michael Urie discusses his starring role with EW. “Peter is a self described plant-gay — he has a fern named Judith — trapped in a social media job he doesn’t love and is always single when he goes home for the holidays.”

Assessing his character’s homo heritage, Urie continues, “My parents are played by Barry Bostwick and Kathy Najimy, a combination that scientists agree can only produce sons who are gay and love Christmas. Peter’s the kind of Guncle who has spent many Christmases perfecting choreography to a Britney Spears Christmas song with his nieces. And it is perfect.”

Music and mirth are all fine and dandy, but what about sexy St. Nick?

What about him, Michael Urie?!?

“You can expect pageantry, wine, hunky Santas, a little bit of deception, a whole lotta do-gooding, and Jennifer Coolidge.”

Ah, that’s the nog we were thirsty for.

Single All the Way is sliding down your digital chimney December 2nd, and Urie promises it’ll be a gay game-changer.

“It’s the gayest thing to happen to Christmas since Mariah!”

Welp! He invoked the kween’s good name, so we must throw to Ms. Carey as we conclude our queer crusade. Christmas won!
