“Hello” already broke the internet, so Adele could have just called it a day; instead, she’s delivered a huge album to follow it.

When introducing 25 to the world, Adele declared, “My last record [21] was a breakup record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record. I’m making up with myself.” Considering 21 topped every international sales chart and garnered seven Grammy Awards (including Album of the Year), it would be an understatement to say Adele’s third release had a lot to live up to. Thankfully, 25 is just as brilliant and stunning as both of its predecessors. The album’s lead single and video, “Hello,” simultaneously broke YouTube and iTunes download records immediately upon release; in it, Adele pours her heart out, apologizing to a lover while attempting to move on with life.

Elsewhere on 25, her flawless vocal delivery paired with tender lyrics on tracks such as “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” “I Miss You” and the album’s closer “Sweetest Devotion” prove emphatically that Adele is truly in a league of her own. Rumor has it Adele will embark on her first tour in five years sometime this summer. For ticket info as it’s announced, follow @adele on Twitter.
