Heartland Brewery

Heartland Brewery welcomes WorldPride attendees as NYC celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising!

A trip to NYC is not complete without a visit to one or both of our premiere brewpubs. As a pioneer of NYC’s craft brewing scene, Heartland was named Best Brewpub by New York Magazine and has been paving the way to deliciously refreshing beer since 1995. Heartland uses only the freshest malts and hops, brewed daily, to ensure you’re receiving a palate-pleasing experience. Heartland’s beer is served exclusively at our employee-owned locations found only in New York. From our award-winning Farmer Jon’s Oatmeal Stout to crowd-pleasing seasonals like Maibock Lager, our well-curated line up of home brews contain a favorite for even the most discerning beer lover. And we’re not the only ones who think so, Farmer Jon’s Oatmeal Stout was awarded a bronze medal at its first showing at the prestigious annual Great American Beer Festival in Colorado and took home the gold two years later.

Heartland Brewery & Chophouse- located in the Heart of Times Square

The only casual chophouse in the Times Square area, Heartland Brewery & Chophouse combines the rich character of a steakhouse from yesteryear with a full bar and modern sensibility. In addition to a beer-friendly menu specializing in Black Angus beef, you’ll also want to try a few of our House Specialties like Kobe Mini-Burgers, Fried Dill Pickle Spears & House Smoked Pulled Pork. Inside, you’ll find a museum quality collection of pre-Prohibition beer artifacts, including back-bar sculptures, trays, and photographs, all part of the personal collection of our founder, “Farmer” Jon Bloostein.

Those items that don’t decorate the restaurants are stored in a warehouse on Bloostein’s 90-acre upstate farm. That farm is also home to a 1,000-square-foot organic garden, where Bloostein grows eight varieties of heirloom tomatoes, sweet Walla Walla onions, and cucumbers. In season, home-grown produce from the farm appears on our menu.

We are minutes from all the major Broadway Theaters in Time Square, perfect for a pre-show cocktail or casual dinner with your guests after the performance. Our Pre-Theatre Special at $34.95 for a three-course dinner can’t be beat. We also have private party rooms for any size group. Bring your friends to celebrate practically anything. Our professional party planners are glad to help.

And, please join us for Happy Hour! Mon-Friday from 4-7pm with Great prices on select brews, cocktails & wines.

Heartland Brewery & Rotisserie – Located in the Empire State Building

New York City’s most famous landmark, the Empire State Building, houses New York’s number one brewery, a two-story 450-seat Heartland equipped with two large bars and four giant flat-screen TV’s plus a pool table. More than just a watering hole with great beer, we offer both visitors and locals excellent food and a feeling of home that only Heartland can offer.

Aside from our unique starters like a giant 14” soft pretzel with Cheddar Ale Dipping Sauce, cooked to perfection burgers & steaks and chef’s favorites (try the salmon with wasabi crust), our menu features specials from the rotisserie. Barbecue Chili, Lemon Rosemary & Citrus Honey Mustard Glazed Rotisserie Chicken are all tasty options. We also feature an extensive kids menu for just $9.95

“Voyages of Beer” give customers an opportunity to taste six of our brews. The flight of five-ounce pours are served on a round tray labeled “Real Beer,” the range starts with a light beer, at about 3.9% alcohol, and moves upward to a hoppier blend at about 8%

Tip: Try Heartland’s Classic Fish & Chips while downing a few pints of Cornhusker Lager! No reservations needed.
