Internationally recognized pornstar and dancer Papisongo was rushed to the hospital early Monday afternoon after he was found in his Harlem highrise unconscious. Neighbors describe him as a sexy well-built man who loved his dog.
His attempted suicide comes amidst several public meltdowns he had over the past few years. No one came to his defense after numerous cries for help. Kasey (his real name) honorably served his country in the Army and was deployed to fight in the Iraq war. Everything went downhill when he returned home and found himself homeless. He discovered his immediate family had passed away. His parents, grandparents and an aunt had all died while he was in Iraq during the 10 years he served.
Having no friends or remaining family as he was the only child, he was placed in a shelter where he lived with his dog for three years. Having difficulty finding employment without experience, he decided to pursue a career in porn. He has worked for studios such as LFC, BigCity, EnriqueCruz, RawStrokes, Timtales and others. In 2009 when he started his career, he went on an audition where he was sexually assaulted. He was touched, groped, fondled, grabbed and kissed inappropriately without consent.
Kasey tried to seek legal representation but no lawyer was willing to take the case of someone in the sex industry. These allegations were hard to prove given that it was his word over anyone else’s. Kasey also thought he would eventually be hired, but that has yet happen. The assailant also reputedly told other stars if they associated with Kasey their careers would be at risk. So they avoided Kasey like the plague. They started blocking and unfollowing him on social media.

In 2011 while walking home from a dancing gig at a local bar, he was ay bashed robbed and beaten over the head with a metal pipe by five men. Video surveillance shows people walking by and leaving him on the sidewalk unconscious, bloody and bruised.
He was in a coma for two weeks and woke up in the hospital. He had to take a break from filming until he had fully recovered. His last movie was shot on Christmas Day 2013, and he has not had sex or filmed another movie since. Being shunned by society for being a porn star he was now being shunned from the industry. Rumors of his mental state and drug use circulated, convincing stars and producers not to work with him.
Feeling isolated and exhausted while fighting to restore his reputation with the public and industry he became depressed, insecure, lonely, miserable and withdrawn. He started popping pills and drank heavily. Being ignored and stressed, Kasey felt the only way to rid himself from this pain was to commit suicide. He had contemplated it for some time, but after being told he would never get hired again, he finally made an attempt.
This whole story has me really concerned over his well being. He wanted a comeback so bad, but no one took him seriously. No one wants to be rejected or ignored especially someone of celebrity. I feel his pain.
