Last Thursday, Steve Grand decided to record and produce a video for a cover of the modern Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” That video is now here.
In it, Grand and actor/model/singer Trevor LaPaglia share a Christmas morning to Grand’s pared-down cover of the Mariah Carey classic that’s sexy in its cuddliness. In so doing, they will surely double the sales of onesies.
The song was produced by Nick Block and is available for download here. The video was directed by John Lavin.

It’s been a good year for Grand, whose album All American Boy peaked at number 3 on Billboard‘s Independent Albums chart and broke into the top 100 on its Billboard 200 and Digital Albums charts as well. We were very happy for him to grace our Pride Issue cover this summer with the story “Grand Ideas.”
