Background My name is Brian Newman and I am the owner and founder of Tech and Computer Tutor. I started the company years ago when I realized what a demand there was for easy, simple, and clear technology education. You ask how I got so smart at such a young age? Well, I was very fortunate that my 1981 1st grade class had a computer program. My interest started there and has grown ever since. I have studied software applications and programming at Red Bank Regional High School and Rutgers University from which I graduated with High Honors. The most recent cutting edge technology has been self taught through periodicals and extensive research. I live in\nWest Hollywood, CAlifornia and spend most of my time with clients or working on web pages. Some celebrity clients include: CNN, Larry King Live, Kirstie Alley, Alan Poul, James Wilder, Bryan Singer, Bruce Vilanch, Jerry Herman, J. Randy Taraborrelli, Jeffrey Sanker, Lawrence Kasanoff, Sam Harris, Sasha Alexander, Steve Levitt, and Jack Wagner. Some of my corporate clients include: American Eagle, CNA, Casting Studios (Los Angeles), Fria’ Foundation, Martin Patrick Evan, JS Enterprises, John David Ridge Studio, Sendroff & Associates (New York), Prudential Realty, Southern California (USC), and Il Fornaio (Beverly Hills). Most importantly, I would like to let you know that I love computers and love teaching!.

Rich’s background is as diverse as is his work. He is passionate about his photography and while New York City is a constant inspiration and source of all things unexpected, cars (pre-1970) and their unique design details comprise a huge portion of what he shoots. Rich’s photos comprise artwork in many client sites and the mindset behind the lens is “I see it…I like it…I shoot it”.
He is a former personal trainer, most notably at Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires, Manhattan and the Hamptons. Certifications included American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), International Dance Exercise Association (IDEA).
Rich has been fortunate enough to share his quirky and insightful observations throughout the Manhattan comedy circuit, including Caroline’s, Stand Up New York and New York Comedy Club.
He served on the staff at Fordham University as an adjunct professor and has worked as a creative consultant for Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erikson and Pace Advertising.
Most recently, with a story conceived by Rich, Victor Ribaudo and Bill Brady and a great script written by Victor, they produced a romantic comedy feature film called The Networker. The Networker premiered May 17, 2015, for two sold-out screenings at the Soho International Film Festival and was released into distribution in September of 2017, available, among other places, on Amazon, the iTunes Store & Google Play.
