Some of Joan Rivers’ possessions are set to be auctioned at Christie’s in New York from June 16-23.
The style-obsessed comedian, who passed away in 2014, left behind a unique collection of desirable items including paintings, furniture and jewelry. Prices range from $500 to $200,000 for the more-than-200 lots in the June 22 live auction. An additional 80 lots of personal objects and unique items will be available in an online sale. Winners will snag Bob Mackie gowns, Cartier baubles, a bejeweled nephrite Fabergé study of a Lily of the Valley leaf, and a silver Tiffany & Co. water bowl engraved for Rivers’ Yorkie, Spike. A portion of proceeds from the auction will benefit God’s Love We Deliver and Guide Dogs for the Blind. christies.com
