How would you like to spend an early fall evening enjoying the ocean breeze and a fine dinner aboard a yacht, all for the benefit of one of New York City’s most-needed charities?
Friends House, an organization providing housing for formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS, has set its sixth annual fund-raiser on the decks of the yacht Hornblower Hybrid, which features both indoor (climate-controlled!) and outdoor observation decks with a full bar on each deck. Boarding begins at 6:30pm, and the ship sets sail at 7pm. friendshousenyc.org
