According to Digital Chew, Facebook plans to make its use of users’ information more transparent. The announcement came after a blog post today admitted that the Trump campaign-connected data firm Cambridge Analytica may have gathered information on some 87 million Facebookers without their consent or awareness. Their earlier estimate was a mere 50 million.

In addition to revising their numbers upward to nearly double, Facebook officials say they will soon inform users if their specific profiles were plundered by Cambridge Analytica. And, in perhaps the most sweeping move, Facebook intends to update its terms of service to prevent a recurrence of any such breach.

As officials explained, Cambridge Analytica came by the data in violation of Facebook rules. The information was originally gathered for academic use by a professor, which was permissable. But that data was then made available to third parties, in violation of Facebook guidelines. This is the first time the social media giant has revised its TOS since 2015.

It’s official: actress Sally Field’s campaign to make her son Olympic medalist Adam Rippon’s new bae has failed.

The harness/tuxedo-wearing media darling has a new guy in his life, despite Ms. Field’s efforts, those of a TV host who asked Rippon out live on camera or even drag queen Elsa, who offered on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to hang out with the sassy skating sensation. Just like Anderson Cooper, he seemed to have a shorter shelf life than most single gay guys these days.

Rippon took to Instagram shirtless and left an unambiguous message: “Good boys Finnish ?? first”. By that, he’s referring to Finnish-born Jussi-Pekka Kajaala, who is similarly wearing nothing but a tan and a smile in the photo.

In talking about Kajaala to People, Rippon says the pair met through the dating app Tinder. More than that, they’d been talking since before Rippon came to public prominence as an Olympian and pain in the posterior for Veep Mike Pence

Yes, Deadpool geeks — that is bisexual Shatterstar in the trailer for the Ryan Reynolds sequel due in theaters next month. With a wink and a nod, the news was leaked by the actor playing him; Lewis Tan, (best previously known as Zhou Cheng in Netflix’s Iron Fist. Cheng confirmed his role as X-Forcer on his Instagram feed. So with Deadpool being out and proud as pansexual and Shatterstar being open to twice the fun, we say: let the kisses fall where they may.
