J-Lo Surprises The Abbey West Hollywood Brunch Goers

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo) made a surprised the Sunday Brunch crowd at The Abbey West Hollywood to present founder David Cooley, with a plaque recognizing him for 33 years of service at The Abbey WeHo. She was also there to promote her Delola alcoholic ready-to-drink spritzes, which she served at the outside front bar.

“I’m here to celebrate someone who has been so supportive of me and so many other artists, and someone who has given 33 years of sanctuary and ceremony and service to the LGBT community. And that person is the founder and my friend David Cooley who has been out here on the streets for a long time,” says J-Lo.  READ MORE ABOUT THE ABBEY HERE:

Cooley recently sold The Abbey, but it remains and LGBTQ community legendary spot.
