HUASCAR & COMPANY BAKESHOP

Dominican-born Chef Huascar Aquino won Cupcake Wars on Food Network in 2013, the same year they opened. They’ve since moved to 54th Street offering cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, flans, French macarons, coconut macaroons, brigadeiros and custom cakes for everyone to write home about. The bakery is small but mighty, you may have caught the adorable Huascar was a contestant on Food Network’s Chopped in the summer of 2018. Don’t forget to taste the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake (vanilla bean cake with a touch of cinnamon, caramelized pineapple, cherry and a capsule of Bourbon.)
