Paul Lynde Gets an Afterlife Encore from Michael Airington

Michael Airington is the only performer authorized by the estate of the late Paul Lynde to play the legendary Center Square from The Hollywood Squares.

Lynde was a larger-than-life performer who came to fame via Broadway’s Bye Bye Birdie, then found a home on the small screen as Samantha Stevens’ snarky Uncle Arthur on Bewitched, then found his sweet spot lobbing one-liners back at host Peter Marshall in The Hollywood Squares game show, which aired weekday mornings for more than a decade. See Airington as Lynde in this MetroEspresso exclusive.
