Funny man Andy Samberg WILL will host this year’s 67th Primetime Emmy Awards — joining an esteemed list of comedians and actors who have helmed TV’s biggest night, including television royalty such as Lucille Ball, Joan Rivers, Ellen DeGeneres and Johnny Carson.
It can be a tough gig, so let’s hope Samberg takes some notes from recent memorable Emmy moments, such as Jimmy Fallon’s celeb-stuffed “Born to Run” opening number or Conan O’Brien locking beloved icon Bob Newhart in a glass box with “only three hours of breathable air” to keep the show from running long. After the awards air on September 20, head to metrosource.com and search “Samberg” to weigh in on his performance.
