During the Holidays in New York, the place to be is the Rockefeller Center with its well decorated area and majestic and enchanting Christmas tree. Well, in Los Angeles, you have to visit The Grove to get the true holiday spirit.
The outdoor mall (where many celebrities and A-listers shop) is the setting for a 100-ft. tall, white fir tree with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 festive ornaments. Since the City of Angels isn’t exactly blessed with snow, there’s a very LA-Dream Factory artificial snowfall from 7 to 8 pm every night. But unlike New York, the snow and its cleanup are well under control.
The Grove also offers a bevy of merry melodies featuring holiday brass and other joyous musical performances and entertainment. Santa’s cottage is where the Jolly Old Elf hangs out an you can have your photo with him. (Tip: visit during the weekdays to avoid the longest lines.)
And for the first time, guests are invited to explore Tesla right inside the Nordstrom store at the Grove. This first-ever
Tesla gallery, located in The Men´s Shop on Floor 1, brings the revolutionary Tesla Model X to you right where you shop. Unlike the Southern California weather, it’s übercool.
