Paul Reubens’s upcoming Netflix movie, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, has its release date: March 18.
Pee-wee Herman: he gets ready for the day just like rest of us. He puts on his pants one leg at a time, drops an upright piano to fold up his Murphy bed, uses a weather balloon to float his recliner up through his attic, straps on his skis, skis off his roof, and gets on with his day.
The movie is produced by Reubens and Judd Apatow and features Tara Buck (True Blood) and Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike XXL). We don’t know too much about the plot or how little clothing Manganiello will wear, but we can tell from its trailer that Pee-wee’s new grownup digs has all the whimsy of his Playhouse.
