Midler offers jaunty takes on classics such as “Bei Mir Bist du Schön” and “Mr. Sandman.”Things get more wisftul on tracks like a surprising re-imagining of TLC’s “Waterfalls.” Other standouts include a duet with Academy Award winner Darlene Love on “He’s Sure the Boy I Love” and a country-inflected take on “You Can’t Hurry Love.”
