SuicideGirls’ Blackheart Burlesque: A Different Kind of Exhibition

May 14

Tattoos, piercings, bustiers and — storm trooper helmets? You never know quite what to expect when the SuicideGirls are involved.

These self-proclaimed “alternative pin-up girls” — many of whom identify as lesbian or bisexual — are bringing their critically acclaimed Blackheart Burlesque to the one-of-a-kind art gallery and concert hall Le Poisson Rouge. Their tantalizing performances have been reviewed as: “Comicon meets burlesque nerd orgy.” Those who want to get up close and personal with the bad-ass beauties can opt for a “Meet and Greet” package, which includes exclusive autograph-signing sessions, photos, and premium seating at its eternally edgy West Village venue.
