Hey, Paula!

Her stint as one of the original
judges on American Idol turned Paula Abdul from an ‘80s pop icon into one of television’s most unintentionally hilariously personalities.

We can only hope she brings more of her dependably slurred critiques and penchant for clapping like a drunken seal when she joins the judging panel of Fox’s summer sensation So You Think You Can Dance? starting June 1. Abdul will be replacing “ballroom expert” Mary Murphy, who will hopefully continue her signature high-pitched hooting and declaring of contestants to be on the “Hot Tamale Train” somewhere far, far away.
