Trinity “The Tuck” is clearly an expert when it comes to the art of tucking. But fear not. She’s all too happy to share what she knows on the Down Low.
Out of the spotlight, Trinity The Tuck is Birmingham, Alabama native Ryan Taylor. As Trinity, she was one of the 14 queens who competed on the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, ultimately placing in third/fourth place alongside Shea Couleé. She then returned to screens around the world as one of the contestants in RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars Series 4.
And of course he practice of “tucking” is one of the more time-honored and less pleasant chores associated with drag and involves careful concealment of the male anatomy in order to create a more seamless contour and profile. You’re unlikely to find much about it in a Boy Scout manual. But Trinity the Tuck is a giving goddess. So she offered has a few words of caution in our video. Fair warning: it’s not for the squeamish. Tucking does have a certain Stephen King novel quality about it. Many a queen has had a mishap as they attempted to wrestle their manhood into the perfect tuck.
We caught up with Trinity at NYC Drag Con, and she ushered us right in for a personal audience. Wen we posed the question on camera, a broad smile spread across her face.
Here’s what she told us: “Metrosource wants to know — What’s one thing that you guys don’t know about tucking that only I would know? It is that it is very dangerous. Sometimes if you are in a long tuck for a long time, things can get twisted, and you’re gonna have to go see a doctor, girl! So, be careful tucking. Go see my tutorial on my YouTube for directions, and good luck!”
So next time you’re feeling pumped about squeezing into some pumps, remember Trinity’s junk-saving guidelines — unless you just don’t give a tuck.
