Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe Are "The Nice Guys"

Easy-on-the-eyes Ryan Gosling stars opposite the beefiest Russell Crowe yet in director Shane Black’s homage to gritty detective flicks of the ‘70s, The Nice Guys.

Cue the funky soundtrack, haul out the period fashion and get ready for high jinks that harken back to classic buddy pics like the Lethal Weapon franchise. Also starring: dreamy Matt Bomer (hot off his vampiric turn in American Horror Story) and Kim Basinger in her first film with Crowe since L.A. Confidential. Black — who also wrote the screenplay — has been refining his formula for this brand of action-comedy for a quarter-century, and The Nice Guys has all the makings of another one-liner fuelled hit. theniceguysmovie.com
