There have been nearly 50 Tarzan films made since the King of the Jungle first hit the silver screen in 1918 (including the 1999 Disney version, which famously featured the musical stylings of Phil Collins).
So we weren’t running to reserve tickets when we learned this summer (This Friday, to be exact) would welcome another iteration of the legendary swinger to theaters.
