Times Square Spectacle Gulliver’s Gate Salutes Pride with a Teeny-Tiny Stonewall Inn

During LGBTQ Pride season there is so much to do in a city as massive as New York, so consider shrinking it all down to size with a trip to see the newly added miniature of the Stonewall National Monument at Gulliver’s Gate.

Gulliver’s Gate is an interactive attraction of 25 different landmark exhibitions located in New York City’s Times Square. The NYC exhibition alone features 311 buildings and 600 windows, and it wouldn’t be the city we know without 47 pizzas too! There are more international adventures waiting for you at Gulliver’s Gate, as well, such as the Asian exhibit, which showcases famous landmarks like the Forbidden City and the modern metropolis of Shanghai; head to the romantic cities of the Europe exhibit to take in tiny versions of Paris or Venice, or take in the ancient ruins of Chichen itza in the Latin American Exhibit.

If you keep your eyes peeled as you make your way through all of the dazzling details, you will find a miniature of The Stonewall Inn, which includes an eccentric crowd of LGBTQ people outside of its doors in amazing detail. Nothing is left out of the iconic building – from the year-round Pride flags to the famous neon lights in the window. The LGBTQ pride doesn’t stop there though, several other buildings around the Stonewall Inn also display their pride with flags and banners that truly recognize the historical significance of the area in a way that’s completely unique to Gulliver’s Gate.

It’s a sweet salute to the Stonewall National Monument, the birthplace of the modern Gay Rights Movement, which was recently added in anticipation of the 2018 Pride March on June 24 and will be a permanent feature in the expansive New York exhibit, so you can check it out even if you aren’t able to make it until after Pride. And it’s worth noting that there’s more to enjoy than landmarks and cityscapes at Gulliver’s Gate. Through the wonder of modern technology, visitors can have themselves or their loved ones scanned and 3D printed out to take home. Who will be part of your miniature family?
