Madonna debuted the video for the second single off Rebel Heart, “Ghosttown.”
In it, we visit a dystopian world that has crumbled because everyone was financially ruined after having bought $450 tickets to the Rebel Heart World Tour. Except for Madonna, who’s doing OK because of all the money she made off Tidal. So she dresses like Stevie Nicks and befriends Terrence Howard, a boy, a tarantula, a rat and a wolf, and then revisits “Waltz for Eva and Che” because musical theater always makes people happy in post-apocalypse.
It’s a lot of imagery.
