Mika Releases "Talk About You" Single

UPDATE: The release date for Mika’s No Place in Heaven has been upgraded from “soon” to June 16!

The upcoming album is available for pre-order now, with those who buy now receiving instant downloads of “Talk About You” (see below) and “Last Party.” That former song is Mika’s “love letter to Freddie Mercury,” an artist Mika has oft been compared to. Mika today releases that song’s performance video, an eerily simple montage shot by fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh. Watch below, and enjoy its curious mix of somber and uplift.

Mika released “Talk About You” today on Vevo, the first single of his upcoming fourth full-length album. It’s got the bubblegum friendliness of a One Direction track, with a beat that calls back to “Grace Kelly”: Try not to tap your foot as you listen; you’ll fail.

The single will be available for digital purchase beginning March 31, with the album coming “soon.” The happy-voiced singer from the UK has been gaining popularity internationally, after appearing as a judge on The X Factor Italy and a coach on The Voice France.
