There’s plenty to look forward to this Independence Day, and what better to spend the Fourth of July than with hundreds of drag queens? Through July 7, Fire Island Pines will host over 30 events during their annual July 4th Invasion.
The LGBTQ beach haven celebrates with drag queen organizers, who plan psychic sessions, tea time, dancing, singing and tons more. These activities occur in a variety of venues along the beach. Tea, drag brunch and piano bar time are just a few of the events offered at Blue Whale, a restaurant and grill. Another hot spot will be the Pavilion, a historic club that will host nights of showtunes, comedy and more. And everyone loves to celebrate with tea and dancing at Sip-n-Twirl, a lounge and club with a DJ and full-service bar. For an extra experience, check out the Twirl Deck, the outdoor part of the club, to watch the sunset, drink and mingle!
