Season 2 of “Queer Eye” Promises More … of Everything

Season 2 of Queer Eye promises more of everything, now that the series has successfully moved from cable to Netflix.

What new boundaries will “the Fab Five” — Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Tan France and Karamo Brown — be pushing in the upcoming season of Queer Eye on Netflix?

Well, nothing succeeds like success. So you can expect more of … the unexpected, as the quintet wander the world one makeover at a time.

While the first five episodes last season saw them repeating the winning formula of the Bravo series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the new season promises to send them farther afield in search of not just the most disheveled, but some of the most unlikely — and seemingly irretrievable — makeover prospects yet.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brown told reporters that “The thing that we’re most excited about [in season 2] is the diversity. We now have women that we are making over. We are also helping people in the trans community. We’re very excited about it.”

Other members of the cast continue to gush about the new possibilities and challenges ahead. The new season “gives us a chance to go a little deeper,’ Van Ness concurred. “You got a chance to know the five of us, and the [season 2] stories just get a little more into our lives as well. So we’re excited to show a little more of ourselves with everyone.

France concluded, “I don’t think it just takes one season. . . I think we all need to be reminded you shouldn’t just tolerate us; you should accept us as equals. Accept us as your families. Accept us as your kin. That’s gonna be the running theme through every season as far as I’m concerned.”
